About Us
Bridget Coyne
The BrideBridget Coyne was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. Family and friends instilled a pride for the Chicago Bears, White Sox, and St. Ignatius Wolfpack. Those feelings are as strong as ever — even after cross-country moves to New York University and Washington, D.C. On the east coast, Bridget pursued a career in politics and media. It all worked out. And she made some great friends along the way. Bridget enjoys travel and pop culture. She has curly hair.
Aaron Myers
The GroomAaron spent his first 18 years in Philadelphia — learning to love art and history. Curiosity for politics and news led him to the capital. He started a political campaign career as a student at George Washington University. Aaron worked for several presidential candidates. None of them won. But Aaron found great friends. He saw America, ate plenty of delicious BBQ, and returned to Washington, D.C. Aaron is a voracious music fan and an identical twin.
Location & Details
Eastern Market opened in 1873 as an anchor for the Capitol Hill community. Today, the market is still a central spot for the neighborhood — and a place for commerce. You'll find fresh meat and produce throughout the week. On weekends, the adjacent streets are closed as the market expands to include local artists and vendors.
We met a few blocks away. And our first date took place across the street.
