Eastern Market opened in 1873 as an anchor for the Capitol Hill community. Today, the market is still a central spot for the neighborhood — and a place for commerce. You’ll find fresh meat and produce throughout the week. On weekends, the adjacent streets are closed as the market expands to include local artists and vendors.

Our evening wedding ceremony will take place on the plaza outside (at the corner of North Carolina Avenue, SE and 7th Street, SE). Dinner and dancing will follow inside. Cocktail attire is requested — and please come prepared to dance!
